Got a check engine light while driving this morning. Never got a "check guages" indication on the HUD or DIC. Pulled over and checked all of the readings and all were fine so I removed the gas cap and put it back on.

When I got hime I checked for codes and none were current so I cleared them all and the check engine light went out.


Any thoughts?

Did you get a check engine or check guages light?

 

Check engine. Just the yellow engine. Nothing on the DIC or HUD.

 

Tighten you gas cap... and see if it goes away...
A loose or missing gas cap is the number one cause of check engine lights
