I'm thinking about getting rid of my 98 coupe and buying an 02 Z. Can anybody give me an overview of the reputation if this particular year of Vette? What is the standard equipment etc.
Also, what would be a ball park price range for this car with under 15K miles? If color makes a price difference, I want a yellow one
Thanks....also, what should a 98 coupe with 53K bring? It's got lots of mods but I now those don't mean much in the resale world.
I got my Electron Blue 02 Z in March. It had 11,500 miles and I got it for 30k. You might pay 32-33 for something comparable. I think the Z had very few options. Dual zone ac, BSM's, and memory package might be it. HUD is standard in 02 and up Z's.
Bought my 02 brand new, so it is now almost five years old. Not one problem (knock on wood) except for the one fuel injector that stuck open one time. Otherwise, she's an angel.
I got mine 2 years ago. It now has 26,000 miles. No problems of any kind. The only options in 2002 were the electrochromic mirrors and the memory seats.
Got my car in january, had 12k on it, changed all the fluids, added a aftermarket fan control, and a 160 stat, for the hot days, it stiil had the stock tires on it, with some GM chromies, put those in the celler, for when i sell it later on, I love the car, It has the oil behind the throttle plate issue, 1k miles in and the oil level is the same as the day I changed it paid 32 with tax.. do it again in a minute...B

Mine only has 2900 miles, so no issues.
Under 15K miles, anywhere from $30K to $34K. Some people have found some really good deals, but don't be afraid to spend a few extra bucks if the car is super clean or modded the way you like (you can buy the mods done for a fraction of what you pay new).
