I'm stopped at a traffic light at a major intersection, I'm the lead car. The traffic coming from the left was also stopped. I spot an absolutely beautiful white Vette that obviously had some work done to it stopped in the traffic coming from the left; the white vette was the second car in line.

When the light turns green for the traffic coming from the left, the white vette sees me in my black vert and he punches it. The car lurges forward violently and he has to also hit the brakes because there was a car in front of him. I guess he was flexing his muscles on my behalf.

The way the car lurged forward and simultaneous braking caused his body flail around light a rag doll.

It was a beautiful day and I had my top down. The lady that was in line next to me at the stop light witnessed this display of muscle power as demonstrated by our white vette friend and she busted out laughing uncontrollably. When I looked over at her, she looked me square in the eyes and laughed even harder.

Damn I was embarrassed!!!

There was absolutely no reason for the white vette driver to punch it the way he did based on traffic conditions.

I'm sure she has told the story about the "white corvette azz...." at the traffic light in her circle of friends.

I often read you guys talking about keeping it on the track (racing). I have one more to add. Some times you need to keep it in your pants, you don't always have to show how biggg it is.

Just venting!!

Doing a burnout at the track in front of several hundred people and leaving the traction control on thus causing the car to stall. :willly

 

Maybe he had a huge cam and a stage 5 clutch but no tune. You should have told the woman laughing that her car made her look fat.

 

 

 

Hey VetStyl -- great writeup of the encounter. I really felt the embarassment there along with you.

BTW, I think you and I exchanged a wave on 270 south the other day... I was in my navy blue coupe, you pulled up on the right. Sweet vert you got there... looks great lowered & all.

 

Those guys in white Vettes drive like idiots.

 

If that woman found that funny, she has a pretty stress free life.

She was probably laughing like that because of the way it made her feel, you know, there... And I am not being discriminating because it would have given me the same feeling (although, different part, yeah maybe I shouldn't have posted this... oh nevermind.)

 

Why were you embarrassed? You didn't do anything wrong.

 

 

 

Yeah that was me, in fact it was the same day of the incident. No you had the sweet Vette!! No doubt you were looking good!!

I dont understand why the woman was laughing? He punched it and it caused him to go back in his seat? What so funny about that...
I guess people laugh their asses off at me when my cam starts surging in parking lots...

If I would have been there and she would of started laughing at me I would have hit the throttle and wiped that stupid grin right off her face
