Does the Castrol 0W that people refer to as GC say "European Formula" on the front?

TIA

Default 0W oil

I think that stuff is great if you live near the artic circle, these cars run extremly hot and that oil is very thin on the protection side, its to easy to spin a rod bearing, My pick-up has that 5.3,300 hp. motor, and I changed that for the hotter weather , to 10-30 mobil one, the fuel mileage stayed the same, the 5-30 was said to be for saving fuel, I rather have the protection of a little heavyer oil, and if you are going to realy get on it, i would stay away from that oil untill january, or if its like my car it never sees cold weather use...B

I've never heard of a true 0W oil and the only European Formula I know if is from AMSOIL. I'm not implying that none exist I've just never heard of any other.

This is what I use in my 04 Z06.

Bob,
The German Castrol to which he refers is a 0w30 not a 0w.

The German Castrol 0w30 does perform very well in the LS1 motor, but for those that prefer, there is an American alternative:
Used Oil Analysis Comparison: German Castrol 0w30 vs AMSOIL Series 2000 0w30

Default no

On the back of the bottle, near the bottom it says:

"Made in Germany."
