I think that stuff is great if you live near the artic circle, these cars run extremly hot and that oil is very thin on the protection side, its to easy to spin a rod bearing, My pick-up has that 5.3,300 hp. motor, and I changed that for the hotter weather , to 10-30 mobil one, the fuel mileage stayed the same, the 5-30 was said to be for saving fuel, I rather have the protection of a little heavyer oil, and if you are going to realy get on it, i would stay away from that oil untill january, or if its like my car it never sees cold weather use...B
I've never heard of a true 0W oil and the only European Formula I know if is from AMSOIL. I'm not implying that none exist I've just never heard of any other.
Thanks for the replies guys, but what I'm asking is, does the Castrol 0W30 people here refer to as German Castrol say "European Formula" on the front of the bottle? Thanks
