I'd pick the name you like and not worry about someone else having it. I believe another vette owner in Georgia has my same plate. He left a post once here in the forum giving me a jab about having the same plates. Actually we both thought it was kinda cool.

I saw a clever one a few years ago. Not necessarily Corvette related, but certainly shows creativity. 10SNE1 Took me awhile to figure it out. Followed the car, a Mercedes coupe, around Indianapolis on I-465. Finally noticed a tennis racket in the back window.

Then it struck me. Tennis anyone?

I was in the same boat, and just got a regular one. I want one that says "saywhen", from Doc holliday in Tombstone. I think that might provoke too much street racing though!!
The one i got though says "DSB...", I always say it stands for "Dumb som'b!tch!!

 

How about FN VETT , you can either say it stands for Fun Vett or F***in Vett.
