Ran into a member of our Corvette club over the 4th..He was pretty bummed. Said he ordered the C6 fender guards for his C5. He said he got some pretty good tips from the forum...but hosed up the first one he tried BAD...He said thumbs up to the guys who successfully modified theirs..He said it's harder than you think... they are really alien to the curvature of the C5. I told him that if they are sold by seperate part numbers he could probably order a new one and not a set...he said if you can ..buy one and he'd sell me the other one...I said no thanks..if they are that popular...Mid America or Ecklers will soon be selling them to fit the C5....hate to learn from somebody else's mistake....but there you go....

You're right, but this is the first time I've heard of any vendor(s) that will be offering them for the C5. If true, will save a bunch of trimming, cutting, etc.
Hold the Phone! I didn't say any vendors were selling them to fit the C5...I said if they are that popular...Mid America or Ecklers will get on the bandwagon before long....

You're probably right - Mid-America and Ecklers usually aren't too far behind in selling products that become popular. If they do, it sure would save having to take the chance on messing up the fender guards by cutting them up.
