Default Body Mods

Not in the near future, but sometime down the road I will probably change a couple body appearances of the car. I see that a lot of you have some nice bumpers and rears, but I am confused on what they are and where to look.

I know that a lot of you have the Tiger Shark bumper + chin spoiler. I am just curious, is there a chin spoiler for the C5 bumper as is? Or do you need an aftermarket bumper first?

Can you guys give me some sites to look at C5 aftermarket bumpers / chin spoilers and give me some names?

I am also interested in a rear bumper too.

Anything to stay away from? I don't want a drastic change, just something suttle to make it look more "mean" I guess, more aggressive.

Thanks!

Contact Ecklers and Mid America Motorworks for theirt catalogs. They have a lot of mods pictured and you can get an idea of the costs also.

These are the 4 best body mods I have seen on a vette. I believe that Glennm27 picked them up in a parade.

Haha, nice reply I liked that one. But on a more serious note... See that front bumper is nice. Still got the OEM look with a more aggressive look.

What bumper is that? Looks like just a chin spoiler on the C5 stock bumper, but Im not sure? Is that a complete aftermarket bumper?

I believe that it goes below the factory bumper. Hopefully someone that has installed one can give you more details.

If you want the best looking rear spoiler on the market, look at Caravaggio.

I agree!! ACI is also nice and a little less money. Carvaggio does look better thought. It is different around the brake light.

ACI makes a really nice looking front chin spoiler that fits on the stock fascia. Motor City Mold makes an excellent carbon fiber high rise hood. Lots of other things out there, including the Tiger Shark components. Good luck in making a decision.
