Default Corvette Bob's post

Thanks, Corvette Bob's dyno test showed that all the hyperbole from manufactures doesn't always add up to real world results.

I think this showed that Bob didn't get the results he expected. Right or wrong, it did not meet his expections as a customer.

I think that's what Bob said isn't it?

Every car is different. After I installed my Halltech Tric and CF Cobra on my 01 Z06, I drove it a couple hundred miles including half a dozen WOT runs 0-100+. I then dynoed the car. In before- and after- dynos on the same Dynotech, I picked up (SAE) +10 RWHP AND +15 RWTQ. That gave me then and currently 345 rwhp and 349 rwtq.

A couple days later I made the car's first runs at the track. Yield was 12.47 @ 117.4. That was is favorable air.

Today that same car, still stock except for the Halltech, went 12.145 @ 115.85, backed up by a 12.170 @ 115.53. This was at a density altitude that ranged from 1421'-1703', which is not particularly favorable.

Bottomline:my experience is the Halltech intake does produce a significant power boost.
