Is Replacing The Fuel Filter a DIY?

I have a 6 speed and it was pretty easy.
I had to go buy a fuel disconnect tool ($9 at PepBoys), but once I got the car up, it only took 10 minutes...
I think the filter was $35.
As I understand some years the filter is in the fuel tank and not accessible. Mine is a 2000..

and the car will be on jackstands so I was wondering if the filter would be accessable or not.

Fuel filter is accessible so if you buy the disconnect tool, you should be able to do it yourself.
