Is everyone reusing the caliper bolts? Or do you need to replace them with new ones? Use some sort of lock tite on the bolts?

peter p:When I bought the factory pads, they came with new ones. You could probably re-use the old ones without a problem. Just clean the threads and use red Loc-Tite if you do. Re-torque to proper spec.
BTW, the factory always says to use new. It's mainly a CYA thing.

I recently went from semi metalic to ceramic pads. Used all original bolts didn't use any lock tite. everything worked out fine. Uncap the brake fluid reservoir (sp?) and use a C clamp and a flat file to push the brake piston back into the caliper. No problems. everything works and no BRAKE DUST!!!
