Stereo Help
Im sure someone, knows where the hell the Amp for the stock stereo is located in a 03 Z. Someone please help me out before i rip the whole interior up in search of this bad boy, thanks Dave

Aye what Q said, the headunit powers the front 3.5" twiddlers and the rear speakers, the 8" woofers, if you can call them that, are powered by tiny amps built into the speaker plate assembly. The plate houses the 8", the 3.5" and the small amplifier per side.
I would advise you head over to the audio/electronics section and read the c5 faq before you rip anything out. The factory blose system is not very cooperative if you want to make changes to the components. Filtered sound to speakers, ohm ratings, lack of a true tweeter are just a few of the problems with the blose system. There are adaptors that allow subs/amps etc to be added to the stock system, and there are a few plug and play changes that you can make without tackling anything major, but trust me when I say you should research the system a bit before hand.
