Default Another Column Lock Question.
I know,it has been beat to death,but have to ask anyway.I read somewhere on this forum that cars made after 12-03 were safe from c/l.Mine was born 01-04.Anyone with a late build car had any problems?Thanks.

Automatic C5's from 01 to 04 were safe from the column lock...All 6spd's right through the 2004's were at risk...

My '04 MN6 coupe is also a late-build car and allegedly immune from the problem. But after reading here about all of GM's previous dubious column lock remedies, I spent the $50 bucks and a little time and installed the CLB anyway. IMHO, it is the best option currently available.
