I've been reading a little bit about the Corsa Pace Car Exhaust.
I know in order to answer these questions best I need to hear the exhaust in person, however I figured I'd ask anyway. I've been told the Pace Car exhaust system is pretty loud. Is it so loud that it stops you from having fun because you're afraid of getting caught?
Finally....I've read it ways quite a bit more than the stock Ti exhaust.....will I notice this at all or even care one bit?
You can go to www.corsaperf.com and give them a listen. I know it isn't "in person", but you will get the idea. I put them on car a couple of months ago and love them. They are quite a bit heavier than the Ti's, but worth the sound IMO. They give kind of an "exotic" sound but are not as loud as you might think. Not, WOT is a different story, but it sounds awesome shifting through the gears.
Don't worry about the weight increase. Its only 4-5 lbs at most.
I just switched my Ti's over to Corsa Indys. Car now makes fabulous exhaust note. Had it out at strip and AutoX last weekend. Got alot of kudos from event participants on way car sounds.
Once you go with the Corsas .... you will not regret it.
However, Corsas are expensive. Look around and get a used set for 4-500.00 from a forum member. No reason to get new when used is just as good.
I just put a set on my 02 Z06. They are quite a bit louder then the stock TI's, obviously... I love the way they sound, but I do catch myself driving a lot more cautiously around town for fear of getting caught.. I can only imagine what it'll sound like with headers / hi-flo cats

Let me know when you do add those mods
As long as the cruising drone is removed ... I could tolerate some more exhaust sound during WOT.

One thing to consider about the audio at Corsa's website. I believe its recorded off the LS1 car.
When the same exhaust goes on the LS6 .... its a better result for sure.
I've run the same Indys on both engines ... and the note from the LS6 is 2X's as nice ... and still no cruising drone.

4 or 5 lbs? Not my system. One side alone weighed more than the total Ti system. I think I read somewhere that the total Indy system weighs 48lbs. I know the shipping stickers on the box I got said 50lbs. I believe the Ti's weigh 18lbs, total. The sound is worth the weight IMO. The added weight means I can't break the tires loose as easily!!

I held the Corsa in one hand and the TI in my other .... wasn't a 'spits' worth of difference in weights.
Both are very light weight. While TI is an expensive metal .... those stainless Corsa are the ones REALLY worth their weight in Gold.
I can break those tires loose in 1,2, and occasionally 3rd .....
Just listened to the clip on their website... that sound is just orgasmic...
Even better when on your car. No audio take can truly capture.
I've two vettes , the C5Z with Corsa's and an LS1 with turbos. One is much faster ... one has the orgasmic sounds. I actually enjoy driving the Z just as much .... just to hear the music of the 1-3 gear pulls.
Nothing like having a daily driver that makes love to you at every light.
