No Owners Manual
And I need to know the Recommended brake fluid. I'd also love some opinions on Brake Pads.
Thanks
PS I think I found some great wheels so my baby is heading back towards the road

I use Valvoline Synpower DOT 3 + DOT 4 in both my Vettes. It has a higher boiling point and absorbs less water than regular DOT 3
for low dust brake pads... AC/Delco Durastop ceramics.
They are cheaper delivered via Fred Beans than local dealer prices.

Just an FYI.....you can order an owners manual and I think Fred Beans has them. I also see them occassionally on the Parts F/S Forum for various years.

The cap on your master cylinder reservoir should also show the brake fluid type that was installed in your car at the factory.
You can also get a free electronic version of the owner's manual for your specific model year by going to
MyGMLink.com and registering your car. Registration just takes a few minutes. Then you can access your year's owner's manual on-line or down-load it to your computer's hard drive.
HTH and good luck with the brakes.
