Well this is one of the many reasons that make this forum so great.
Back in April I wanted to buy a clear third brake light for the vette but the company that sold the brake light could not verify my Canadian address unless I had an American Express credit cards or bought the brake light using money order. So since I had a VISA and Mastercards I SOL. When I got home the brake light was removed from thier website so I couldn't buy the light using a money order.
I was talking to Gary (GB Vette) while I was at the cruise-in about what had happened with the brake light and he said that if I ever came across this situation again just contact him and he would buy the item and send it to me.
Well just last month I came across a clear third brake light on Ebay and it was the same company selling the light as before. So I contacted Gary and sure enough he bought the light for me. Well yesterday I was talking to the girlfriend and she mentioned the light arrived at the house in Langley, BC. What sucks is that I am in Chicago for the next two weeks working.
