Taking my '04 in this week to get the drivers side seat resewn at the bolster seam and the tape deck stopped working. Whenever I get back from a ride, I notice windshield wiper fluid splashed on the wiper cowl. Anyone have that problem and is it an easy fix? Just curious but the car is under warranty.
I dont think your seat will be under warranty because it is wear and tear but hey you can give it a shot.
The seat IS under warranty;a seam is separated and they resew it. I had the service writer and manager look at it and document it and they said it's covered. I find out for sure tomorrow and see if they change their minds.
I had to remove the fluid in my reservoir. I hate that stuff getting on my paint. I added just enough distilled water to keep the "low washer fluid" light off.

Since it is at the seam, it's covered (no pun intended). I just had mine done. At the same time they:
replaced my brake fluid reserve (leaking around cap)
replaced the driver seat track (rocking)
replaced all of the upper weather stripping (targa top rattled)
replaced a rubber "nub" on targa top to stop rattling (the real culprit)
adjusted driver's windows (wind noise)

That is the only way to keep the stupid light off and the water off the window.
