Default Embarassing Question...

Alright all you car corvette guru's...

I have an embarassing question.

What exactly is the difference between the coupe and the FRC.

I heard its lighter and obviously the roof... for fixed roof coupe...

But are there any other differences?

well, the FRC has a smaller rear window, it has a trunk, and is not hatch back (no flaming..lol). i have a coupe and enjoy the best of both worlds. u cant go wrong with a coupe, i just wish chevy would of made a coupe with the Z06 engine...

i wonder why not.... oh well

Doesn't the FRC only come with a manual transmission?

The Fixed Roof Coupe (FRC), AKA Hardtop, was only available for model years 1999 and 2000. It was replaced by the Z06 in model year 2001. More info at the links below:

It's a whopping 24.8 cubic feet of cargo space in the coupe. Great for those long road trips!

I would have bought a Z06 if it came in a vert..I bet they would have sold a ton of them in verts

eh best looking is the convertible

And ditto on the convertible z06. That would have been everything I wanted in 1 car.

As a teen; 1 big task is seeing how many people i can pile in the vette while going from party to party. I have fit 4 girls in the trunk and two in the front seat! BEAT THAT! Hhaahaha! No joke either.
