No stripes Stripes are dated & on every other riced out Honda & Neon.
I tend to agree. But hmmmmmmm? . . . That photochopped yellow stripe doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Almost kind of looks like a pearl yellow with a gradient of light to dark. A subtle pale pearl yellow (almost ghost) might look good. But I think the photo-reverse of Mellinium Yellow and black would just look gaudy and weird. I'm still more a fan of the cleaner look of no stripes. But you should do what appeals to you.
Damn, I had my decision down to silver stripes or none at all. Then I passed a black Ford Lightning with dual yellow stripes on the way back from my son's t-ball game...we both turned our heads . Now I'm back to maybe the yellow...it's an awesome contrast...a definite love or hate deal. The pearled gold above looks pretty nice on that vert!
My coupe is millenium yellow, and it went without saying that the stripes had to be black. The biggest decision for me was deciding on which style of stripes to get. Heres some photos of the style that I decided on. Its similar to the CE stripes with a few changes.
Personally straight BLACK is the only way to go. As meantioned above, it would look guady. You can do other little accents and make the car stand out without adding racing stripes.
