Ya i feel sorry for the local buisness owner. but i would not feel bad for taking advantage of the CEO of chevron, who will have close to a 400 million dollar retirement.
btw the local buisness will soon recover his small loss, people are not going to stop buying gas.
if it was me... I would have drained those pumps... called all my friends and had them do the same...
unfortunate for him ( the owner ) but how many times did he probably spike his rates when he heard oil prices were gonna rise... I dont' beleive it's right for them to jack prices up because they believe the next tank is gonna cost more..... once the next tanker comes in... with more expensive gas... then increase rates... just me... 2 cents deposited.

I'll be honest... sitting here at my desk at work I'm thinking that the right thing to do would have been to tell the station owner right away and not take advantage of the mistake. But I bet if I had just pulled up, put the nozzle in the tank, and then saw the price, I would have filled up fast and happily paid the mistake price.
It's kinda of sad when $2/gal gets you excited when not too long ago it got you
aint that the truth ..
.. buggers.
and yeh i would have done the same .. it -isses me everytime i hear of oil prices going up then when i go to the pump it's up 10 cents in 12 hrs .. something aint right ..
It's ironic how close some of these statements are to the person who says "I should vandalize that Corvette in the parking lot, because that guy has a lot more money than I do and can obviously afford to fix it!"
