Default 2002 Z06 H.U.D question

After 30 days of ownership on my 02-Z06  .I've noticed today while driving threw some winding roads in the country side that my heads up display was showing the entire computer chip board in like a blueish green color up on the wind shield. It would then go back to its original display, this occured a dozen different times,I dont know if it was the sun shining directly into the display or what :(
Have any of you 02 Z06 owners experienced this. :seeya
Please respond with any of you experiencing this type of display!

Yup, low sun right in your face can make this happen. Sounds normal -- at times you can see the whole reflection of the 'guts' of the HUD in the windsheild.

You must have been driving into and out of the sun's angle where it reflects directly into the HUD optics, Sure looks cool when it happens though doesn't it ? Nothing to worry about, simple laws of physics.

It's a HUD thing, not a Z06 HUD thing - happens in my coupe as well. I usually notice it when I turn a corner and the sun is low enough to come in directly through the hatch window onto the windshield.

Man am I glad you posted this!!!! I thought there was something seriously wrong with mine while I was driving back from Ohio where it was 102. It did it quite a few times, but has not done it since I got back. Glad to hear it doesn't mean my HUD is screwed up.

My '99 GTP does the same thing.
Just a light reflection thing, the prices we pay to drive the best. :jester

Mine does it too. It did it today in fact. As far as I can tell its totally normal. Pretty neat to look at though.
