Got My CCW's
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Now just lower it.

but if the rear is lowered and the tires are sticking out past the fenders, would a major suspension compression cause the fenders to crack if they were smashed against the tires?

The tires are Bridgestone Portenzasthe FRONT measure 275/35/18
the REAR measure 305/30/19 ... I would have preferred a 35 sidewall if I had known better... next time this will be the case.
The car is already lowered on stock bolts, I won't make it any lower, when using my 17/18 combo I would scrape on just too many surfaces, these new tires have taken care of that.
The wheels are by CCW & are 505A's
The rear license plate frame (red) was purchased with the idea that it would be easier to make a red one black, than get a black one to match the color of the car. I may paint it someday... today isn't that day ! I'll have to live with it for awhile.
Regrets... although everyone else seems to like the really wide tires and the slight protrusion of the back wheels from the vehicle I'm not totally thrilled with it... but the folks at CCW said it was extremely close to ZO6 specs and left the decision to me as to whether to send them back. Both my wife & a good friend said to leave them be, they're probably right... sometimes I'm just too **** about the whole thing !
That should do it... thanks for your comments.

Nice looking wheels!
They do seem to protrude a bit more than the CCW's on my wifes coupe, but not so much as to look odd or bad. We are running 305/30 Pirelli's on her car -

Thanks afor the pictures.
best regards -

Exactly.
Plus spending all that dough, I'd want what I paid for, not 'almost', or 'close'! They would be going back for sure!Tires sticking out belong on a Kids clapped out, jacked up Nova, not a Nice Vette...the sixties are over!
