Coolant: 221 (highest I've ever seen, same as you)

Default Hot as Hell

Here in FL (Tallahassee) as well, but can't match those "dry" AZ temps. This is beginning to sound more and more like an inconvenient truth to me.

Hermosa Beach might hit 85 today.
That hot sand can get painful on me bare feets.

We're heading to San Diego next week; the vette will be much happier there (for at least a few days!)

You've got us beat for temperature - today was only 99, but the humidity was unreal. Felt like we were in an oven.

I love hearing that about dry heat! I have lived in the extremes for both dry and humid areas. Trust me, it doesn't matter if it is a dry heat or not, it is 115 everyday in phoenix with no rain or even clouds. In other locations, you can wake up with a nice rainy cloudy day. Try the 115 dry heat nearly everyday for over a month!

I lived in Phoenix for about 4-years.

The streets got so hot there that those orange traffic cones would start to melt.

I moved here from the Twin Cities and when it gets too hot, I just remembering going home for Xmas a couple years ago and dealing with -20 temps (and that DOESN'T include the wind chill!)

The heat sucks, but it's still more tolerable than humidity or extremely cold winters; for me anyway!

Dry heat is a misnomer...105-115+ degrees with monsoon weather is hardly dry. There was a summer in the early 90s that we had 2-3 days of 120+ degrees!! Our company cars wouldn't even run in that temperature.
