how to replace the top rubber windshield molding?
Hi, so I had my windshield replaced and the idiots did the worst job ever. They broke both of the plastic trim pieces that go on the side of the windshield and the rubber trim piece was not oem, and was not installed properly (I could pull it off the window with one finger
I told the shop to give me my money back and the car is going somewhare else, they didnt like that idea. So I called the credit card company to dispute the charges for this half assed job. Anyways I took the car home, replaced the plastic trim peices on the side of the windshiels, those were easy. However the rubber trim on top is a PITA. I got a new one from GM, it was only $20. Has anyone installed one of these? I think they need to be put on when the glass is outm and that is not how the shop did it. Any help would be awsome. Guess if I cant figure it out I'll just take the car to a different shop once I get my money back from the crefdit card company.
