Big THANKS to Cscokd!!
Hello all! I am a new member to this forum. I have been a member on 1000rr.net for several years and know how valuable these sites are. I recently bought my 2000 Coupe and the day I bought it in San Antonio, TX, it shut down in Dallas on my way home to Ohio...not a good day. Upon researching why I was receiving the "Service Colmun Lock" message that left me stranded (after the dealer was totally dumb founded to it) I found all you guys...a great bunch! To make a long story short, Cscokd has been a tremendous help with his experience and knowledge with these cars and his engineering background. I'm still not totally up and running, due to connectivity issues, BUT he has sent many emails with info. and diagrams leading me towards a fix. Not to mention several phone calls giving his advice and direction. He's an incredible assest to this forum and very sincere and compassionate towards people like myself struggling with a fix and confidence issues with the car. Thanks to him, I'm gaining confidence and I know it's only a matter of time before my Vette is able to operate without the dreaded "column lock" fuel shut off issue. Thanks for hearing me out and a BIG thanks to JOHN!!!!
