I have to return 9 boxes of junk from an ******* vendor (not a CF vendor). And this junk weight like 40 lbs each box. He wont send me call tags so obviously, I will be paying twice as much to send it as i did in receiving it.
Whats the least expensive expensive method? UPS? USPS?

fedex ground without a doubt
not a fedex shipping location the official one in your area
just called fedex and you are right! They are much cheaper than UPS. and ya, those 3rd party locations are rip offs. there is a fedex center close by me. thanks
DHL has lost 2/4 packages that have been sent to me. It's all about my local crackhead driver I guess. But yes I've gotten very cheap quotes from them just can't afford to lose anything else. They might even be faster than fedex...ups is the slowest to deliver
FedEx ground is less expensive than UPS ground. The reason being that FedEx has more zones than UPS. Also, you can take your packages to Kinkos, some are open 24 hours a day and since FedEx owns Kinko's, you don't pay a rip off charge.
You might look into Media Mail with the USPS. Just tell them it is books. It takes forever to get there but I think it is rather cheap. A friend uses it for shipping most of his ebay sales. Not sure about tracking or insurance though.
Havent mailed them yet so I'll try them too. Thanks. If its just like a diffreec of $15-$20, Ill just go with FEDEX. But if it approaches $50 or more, then I just might go with DHL as long as they track and I can get reimbursed if they lose the packages.

Depending on the size, USPS has a "one rate-one price" deal if it fits in a certain size box. I'm not real crazy about the service they provide sometimes but it will get to where you need to get too. I don't know the maximum weight limit. May be worth checking on???

Good luck!
They told me about the e one-rate-one price. it doesnt work out to my advantage, And the max weight per box is 150 lbs I think. But the prices go up disproportionately to the weight so its not to my advantage to stuff everything into fewer but heavier boxes
