Default Convertable Wind Screens?

Hey all, I was just wondering if there is any sort of windscreen like the Mercedes roadsters have behind the seats to kill wind noise and and turbulance. I THOUGHT I had seen one on here somewhere, but cant seem to find it through my searches. Thanks all

This is the one I have. It work well, is tinted and low profile.
A little on the pricey side, but my better half really likes it.

Also get the vinyl carrying case which fits in the trunk for the screen
and both brackets when not in use.

Install is simple, when you have the lid up you put on two brackets (they just slip on) that hold the net. Close the lid and you are set..I think CV America, Ecklers, most of them carry the Vette Net made for the C5.

Here's a pic of the older style i picked up on ebay for about $200. The new one is lower and plexiglass i believe.

How well does it keep your hair from blowing around?

IF you have a crew-cut and are short it works the best.....

Seriously, on the highway at 70, with the windows up, it works the best....i am 6' so i also put my seat down for best results. You can hear the radio and talk much easier, but it works much better with the windows up. Must be a lot of air coming in the car from around the windshield too.

Much more enjoyable for long trips at highway speeds if you don't mind the windows up. Works, but not as well with them down. Always blow the hair a little but with much less turbulence....

To be more exact, the girls complain that their hair is blowing around and hitting their eyes. And from my perspective it does look like it hurts.

Does the wind screen stop this from happening while the windows are up? To what degree? I'm not sure I want to "trade-in" the girl(s) that complain cuz their pretty cute and they are trying

Default Been there done that!

Just my opinion here, but I purchased the new plexiglass model and it was very nice. Two problems, 1. I am tall and like my seat all the way back in the "cove" area and vette net placement forces you to move seatback upward. B. With plexiglass behind you at night you get a reflexion of the road in front of you. "Bothersome to me." Vettenet should include the cover with their product, but they don't, it's extra $.
I sold my vette net to another C5 driver at show and he traded me a leather net that fits between the two seat which wraps around top of seats with velcro. Hope this helps you!
