I have a problem with my EXT temp sensor - as my EXT reads 69 at all times.. I searched around and they say it sticks thru the shroud on the passenger side. I can't find it for the life of me.. could anyone take a picture of what it looks like? I wanna check it for corrorsion before I buy another.
I found the 'weather pack' for the hood light.. everyone said it was 8 inch from there but I spent about 20 minutes looking over those 8 inchs with no avail.
It is located in the very bottom on the right side of the airdam below your airbox. It is a plastic two prong connection connected directly to the airdam. If you see something that looks like it couldn't possible do anything, then you found it. Sorry, I don't have any pics of it.
Mine did the same thing last week when I installed a new air intake that required me to remove the airdam. It reset itself after about 15 minutes of driving. Good luck
I had a similar problem on a GTP. I replaced the sensor and fixed it. The sensor was less than $10 at the Pontiac dealer. I don't know the Corvette price (plus the Vette Tax).
Just got through doing mine. If you cant find it pm or email me and I'll take a pic and show you exactly where it is... It's a 10 minute fix for sure....

Get under the car and look at the bottom of the right side of the radiator shroud area and you should see a little probe sticking out - that's the temp sensor.
get under the car with your head under the rear and feet under the front bumper
wait lol you wont find it like that haha its really easy to see if you look under the front bumper in the center a little toward the passenger side it's clipped in, the only thing really that pokes out in the area
very simple to find and fix , mine was stuck on 60 , if it had been stuck on 69 , i would have left it alone , a "cool mod " I would think !
Seriously thought , it's a ten minute fix if that .
Go buy the sensor first , I got mine at the dealer for about $ 7.00 , then you would know what it looks like and what to look for .
It is located , all the way down close to the ground on the passenger side , mounted to the front nose piece right next to the radiator .
At the very botttom of the radiator you will find a 2 wire connector and a similar piece just like the one you bought mounted with a plastic snap pin. it's a bit tight , but disconnect the wire , then pull up on the pin snapped in , the sensor should come out , then reverse the process .
