The 2006 Saleen S7 is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, available in one trim only, the Twin Turbo.
Upon introduction, the S7 is equipped with a standard 7.0-liter, V8, 750-horsepower, turbo engine. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2006 Saleen S7 is a carryover from 2005." MSRP $555,000
"yet the duality of it's personality is evident in the Mulholland Brothers custom made 3 piece fitted luggage found in it's front and rear trunks and its standard AM/FM/CD/DVD/TV audio visual systems."
Does that mean for those who will soon go bankrupt when their ARM doubles, never fear, you can pretty much live in it!
How the heck are you going to watch TV whilst cruising in that thing???? And, who would want to?For the money, I will stick with my corvette.

The Z06 is a super bargain, but it is not a “super car”

The Z06 is a super bargain, but it is not a “super car”
However, I think that given the opportunity, regardless of price, I would still choose the ZO6. The writer could have chosen another set of words, but in reality, I agree that while ahead of its time, the Corvette is not a "Supercar (even though it says so on some of our tires). When I hear super car, I think Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini...

Those are nice cars but not American Supercars.
The Saleen S7 is, however, it isn't the first. Corvette is the first American Supercar.

I wouldn't buy that newspaper to line my bird cage.

The Ford GT could be considered an exotic, due to it's low production, but even it isn't a supercar.

what he said !!

The first problem is reading and then actually believing what the Los Angeles Times writes. The LA Times, now owned by the Chicago Tribune is, and always has been a very left coast newspaper. So take ANYTHING they say with a "grain of salt" whether its politics, Federal, State or local or an opinion piece as well.
The Times does work well in a bird cage or to toliet train new puppies.

I'd still rather have a C5, but I wouldn't mind having an NSX next to it.
