[Z06] Low washer fluid WTF

Low washer fluid WTF

this morning i get a low washer fluid massage. go home add more fluid and press the reset button. the code shows back up about 15 mins later. reset it again and hold down reset for about 5 seconds. still shows massage after about 10 mins of driving. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Pull the float out and brush off the mechanisms. It is probably just stuck due to old fluid on the joints that allow the float to move.

cleaned it off and no luck. so i just flipped it around 180 deg. to trick it to always being full. i guess the sensor is dead but in the desert i use my wiper fluid maybe 3 times a year so replacing it is not going to happen.
