Im doing the same in 3 weeks. From there its on to Williamsburg, Washington DC, then to KC. From what I understand not much else to do in Bowling Green although Nashville is only 60 miles away.

There's all sorts of neat stuff in the region. Check the Museum website (or call them) for some of the places they hook up with for cruises - the caves, distilleries, wineries - all sorts of cool places.
There are caves in the area. We recently stayed at a wonderful Bed & breakfast in Auburn, Kty. about 20 miles from the Corvette museum. There is a historic Shaker community in that area that is very interesting. There are also some Amish communities in that area.
Have a great trip!
Lots of stuff to see in Nashville. Check out The Hermitage, the home of Andrew Jackson; very cool guided tours. OpryLand, Ryman Auditorium and lots of great nighttime stuff downtown. Gotta like country music.
Memphis is not too far a drive to go to Graceland to visit Elvis. Also go to Lynchburg TN for a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery. Very entertaining tour. You can't drink there as the county is dry but you can buy a special bottle in the gift shop.

Not too far away is Maker's Mark Distillery - makers of the finest, smoothest Kentucky bourbon.
Smoky Bones BBQ in B.G. - darn good food for a chain. Or try some of the local BBQ restaurants.
Mammoth Cave is a great drive and a good tour.
In BG there is a steak house named Rafferty's where we ate. It was the best steak I have ever had! I was told that Rafferty's is a chain that started in BG. I certainly wish they had one near me in south Alabama.
Since you get moved thru the plant pretty quickly, I recommend going to BOTH the morning AND afternoon tours. You'll see things the second time that you missed the first.
