I need some good tips on how to get the lower portion of a Vararam installed. I can get it done the long way, but if anyone has any short cut pointers, you would be helping me keep my sanity.
A great friend GAVE this system to me, but it included no instructions and he decided to go to Daytona this week so he can't help me.
I'd recommend only securing the outer bolts of the lower section to the nose. It's a slip fit over the fog light openings, and this allows some movement when connecting the upper section. I installed it per instructions the first time, and the lower section would not align with the upper. After removing those bolts, it fit mine much better.
Take this for what it's worth. This is just what worked best for me. Have fun...it's a great mod!
I replaced my Oil Pressure Sensor and I nstalled the Vararam yesterday. It went well, or better than I expected anyway. I can't wait to get it out and start having fun ! ! !
Thanks again BudgetPlan1 for the link to a GREAT write up by CAJUNDUDE.

Hey Mark,
I am thinking of installing mine next week or maybe even this weekend if it pans out for me. How long did it take and did you do it without a hoist?
Tino all you need is ramps or to put it on jack stands.
Very casually with several breaks for coffee( my garage is unheated). I did mine on a leisurley snowy Sunday morning using Cajundude's instructions.
No issues, no surprises...

Tino,
The job took between 2 and 3 hours to complete, and that includes several "it's too hot....I need an AC unit in the garage" breaks. I did not use a lift, but did use my homemade "redneck" ramps to give me the clearance necessary to get under the car. See my sig pic....IT'S REALLY LOW, so my ramps work great to get it off the floor.
It really was not as bad as I thought it would be.....just a lot of 7mm screws holding things together that need to be removed and reinstalled.
