Great Milage
Just returned from a 375 mile trip (one way) with my 99 FRC. I got an amazing 31.1 mpg. About half of the trip was two lane 65 mph and the other half on the big slab at 75mph. It is our best mpg vehicle. I also have an 02 Chevy truck and the wife drives an 06 Hyundai Sonata.
Man, I love that Vette. I also used my new radar detector, the Escort Passport 8500 X50. Worked absolutely great as advertised. No tickets and plenty of patrolmen on the road.

I must say, I am really looking forward to enjoying that type of mileage when I pick up my 04Z. I can already see that most (non Corvette) people have trouble believing that a 350-405 hp vehicle (C5/C5Z) can get fuel economy like that!

I traveled a 2 lane highway last week. So set my cruise contract @ 57 mph to stay between truck convoys. It was 95+ degreees, driver's window down.
The road is about 60 miles long. Only a little passing.
MPG Average = 35
