Oil Question

I recently purchased Cadilac Seville STS. (It doesn't look bad next to the 99 Roadster!) It has about 75K miles. I'm thinking about switching to Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Is there anything I should be worried about when doing that? (sorry about this not being Corvette related, but I expect you some of you guys have more knowledge in this area than the average Joe)

My Cadillac SRX with the 400HP Northstar engine was factory filled with Mobil 1 5W30 and that is what the dealer puts in it on every visit

Mobil 1 is a good choice.

Nothing to worry about. I switched to Mobil 1 5/30 in my 1990 Toyota pickup, V6, with 130,000 miles on the clock and I have had no problems and no appreciable oil usage. Go for it.
