Just wondering if anyone has a wierd smell when they start up the A/C? The best way to describe it is a musty or a mildew scent - not the nicest thing in the world. It does go away after about 2 minutes. Anyone know? Any quick fixes?

It is possible that the drains are clogged, they are located in the lower corners of the windshield. They can be accessed by removing the wheel well panels and look up. They are roughly 6" long and made of black rubber. There are two per side.

This is from condensate sitting in the box for a long time and it is what you smell....mildew.

GM dealers sell a product called Frigi-Clean or similar, you spray it into the HVAC air intake with the system running and it kills the mold on your evaporator/condensor. Worked GREAT in my car which had a strong mildew smell.
Go to Advance or Auto-Zone for a product called Frigifresh or similar but make sure you've got a water puddle under your car to assure that the drain is working.
