Default What should I mod next????

I have a '97 C5 coupe and am in the process of instaling Dynatech Supermaxx LT headers, X-pipe, high flow cats, Borla Stingers, Vararam and an ECM mod. This was a big dent in the wallet, but everbody has to have a hobby, right? What should I save for next? Open to opinions

Ear plugs...

Consider gears...3.90's or 4.10's for an M6 or 3.42's or 3.73's for an auto.

Default Try this out

I take it that the ECM mod is a dyno tune? If not, that would be money well spent to wring out all the hp in that exhaust setup. You could also move more into the intake, such as an LS2 TB or on of those FAST intakes or both! The aforementioned cam is also pretty good as far as bang for the bucks. After all of that, another dyno tune would probably be in order. After that, move to the suspension. Money to burn still? Go for an awesome stereo or step up to forced induction. If you go FI keep in mind you may have wasted some $$$ or the NA upgrades. Either way, you'll have a fast vette.

I have an auto trans...Got the Borla Stingers on tonight, Man do they sound great....as far as what I'm looking for, I want a car that I can drive comfortably at highway speeds (go on a 300 mi trip e.g.) but if I line up against someone I won't get embarrased.

I also think a cam upgrade might be the way to go!

Everyone pushes straight line horsepower, but for me, a performance package should address the handling as well. What about some bilstien or penske suspension? Sway bars, etc?

For staightline go:

3.42 gears or 3.90 gears w/ a new higher stall converter and a trans cooler

and/or

Cam w/ springs etc

and/or

Heads/cam package

Curvey go mods:

Bilstine sport shocks and Z06 swaybars, lowering, and a performance allignment a little beyond the stock Z06 specs.
