Extended warranty

GMPP sucks. Fichtner is great.
I'd never waste my money on a GMPP again.
Get the cheapest one you can find. You'll be arguing with all of them anyway.

if you have to go aftermareket warranty then make sure you check out the company you go with prior to signing...you could even go as far as asking a GM dealer if they had any dealing with them...I have a third party warranty on my wifes car from our Credit Union...Intercontinental Warranty Services (IWS) never had to use it but from what I have been told...they are not bad to deal with...just have to play by their rules...
Big thing is Mods though...be careful...they will try to void out a claim if they suspect anything major done to the car...

Take the money you are going to pay
on a warranty and put it in a bank savings that
will be there if needed. Chances are that
you will come out waaay ahead. If you
just like peace of mind, then go ahead and
get the warranty. Remember, these companies
are in business to take your money, not fix
your car, so if they can get out of a repair,
they will. Tread carefully.
Shop around. I am planning to buy a GMPP 60 month/40,000 mile extended warranty for $1,070.
To get the GMPP, your car still has to be under the original factory warranty.
