Road Trip and Saran Wrap?
A fellow at a 'Vette Show" this past week said he put Saran Wrap on the front of his car when he was traveling on trips. He said he just peels it off when gets to his destination. He said he does it to keep the bugs off of his front. Has anyone ever heard or done this? Was he just B.S.ing me?
Thanks
Mike

Sounds like a good idea but would look kinda funny. Have you asked the folks in the car care area?

I’ve heard others have used it for sexual protection so why not the front of your car

As a group, we tend to give a hard time to folks who like neon and fart cans. What do you think they would say to some saran wrap on a vette.
I think it is just plain wrong.

You can also use the 3 inch wide Blue Painter's tape. Be warned the color may clash with the rest of your car !

I've tried it unsuccessfully when I picked up car at NCM in 2000 at their suggestion. It didn't work for me. Kept flying off. Maybe it needed some honey to keep it on

I would think that the wrap would fly off and get you a littering ticket.

I've seen it done and it does work.
I have a GM bra, it is far more functional and has saved many a rock chip and is easy to clean up at the other end of the road.
