[Z06] Snow tires??

Default Snow tires??

In chicago area....will I need snow tires to drive a Z06 this winter?

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't bother. Any 'Vette is a handful on snow, and the Z06 just adds more power to the equation. There are Goodyear Eagle M&S tires that will work, but then you still have to contend with salt corrosion, melting in the garage and other drivers trying to snowplow your car.

I'd recommend a reliable beater for the snow months and leave the Z in the garage.

I'd have to agree. I drove my '97 all last winter and the Z06 once in the snow. It wasn't fun. It can be done if you have to but avoid it if possible. If you absolutely must drive the car in the snow, get some used stock rims and put some M&S tires on them.
