Default Maximum tire size?

Just wondering what's the maximum size of tires my Z can handle.

1. Must fit factory Z rims.
2. Must not interfere with brake ducts.
3. NO rubbing.

I was considering 285/40-17 front and 315/35-18 rear.

Thanks for the help.

Fronts should be okay at that size.

Rears, however, will probably max out at 305 (315's will work - the issue is rubbing of the air flow duct when going over speed bumps, high rist driveways, etc.

Thanks for the info AC54ME.

What can I do to keep my ducts functional and go to 315s?

i know you can shove the duct over a little and re-drill the screw hole.

it can make the difference between rubbing or not.

315's will be fine in the rear but I'd stay with 275's up front.

Default 315's in rear and computers

Do the 315's in the rear have an issue with the computers? I put 275' in front and 315/18's in the rear and have not noticed any ride changes. I thought I'd ask the experts in this forum.
