Default Brake squeal
I understand that brake squeal is cause from the pads becoming glazed. Could this glazing be caused from the pads wearing off the rust that occurs after washing? Do car with rotors that have been zinc coated ever squeal?

Just a thought..

I'm assuming they are OEM. I bought the car ~ 1 month ago from a dealer in Ohio. There is only 16K miles on it

I don't know that zinc coating will help. I do know that slotted rotors will help as they tend to clean the pads. Of course that comes at the cost of decreased pad life.
