[Z06] 2001 pups, open up or not?

2001 pups, open up or not?
OK, I'm sure this has been kicked around before,,, Has anyone with a 2001 Zo6 cleaned out the inner's of their pup's, and if so did it make any difference on the sound of the exhaust, I would really like some louder pipes but don't want to remove the titanium... Come on guys give me your observations on this .... Thanks, Craig

I gutted my pre cats during the heads and cam installation.....the car is louder but I cant tell ya if it is because of the gutted precats or the cam
sounds good none the less and you set no codes with out them
