Damn thats a lot of money for that. I bought a Gentex Mirror that is autodimming, LED maplights AND has dual line compass and temp for $80.00
I got it in brand new condition on ebay from a wrecked 06 Jeep Wrangler (which uses Gentex mirrors as well. Same that are in vettes).

Great upgrade though I like it :-)

I did have to rewire the entire thing and add a temp sensor. Wasnt too hard since all the correct wires were already at the mirror harness. I did have to add a relay because apparently jeep interior lights are reversed polarity than the corvettes. The mirror slid right into the existing windshield clip. To me it was worth it to get a $300 Gentex mirror with all options for only $80. So for those of you looking to upgrade keep a look out for 05+ Jeep wranglers parts as they come with the high end Gentex mirror.
