I drove past an Advance Auto Parts and saw their advertisements. Right now they are selling Mobil 1 oil filters for less than $8 (Autozone charges $10.99) and the Mobil 1 oil for $4.77/qt. I have used only Mobil 1 oil fitlers for several years now. When I first purchased my Z06, I used the UPF44. However, I had two UPF filters that failed (one was crushed and the other didn't filter....the oil guage was all the way to the right). I don't know how long the sale is for but I thought I'd let you know...I've seen the Mobil 1 filters for $14.99 in some catalogs.
