I need help making a decision on new wheels for my '01 silver C5 coupe. I tried to paste pictures but I guess it didn't work. Been trying to decide for a week now, and know I need help.
The black chrome looks killer in person - I saw them at Bloomington Gold.
Very unique look that would work well on a silver car.
I haven't physically seen the black chrome. The picture looks good, but does it make the wheel/tire look blacked out? Or, is it more like chrome with a hint of black? Thanks for your help.

It's hard to describe, and even harder to capture the true look in pictures.
It's sort of a flip-flop look. In shade, the wheels look like a charcoal color, not as dark as black, but yet they still have the chrome mirror-like effect to them.
In the brght sunlight, they look almost like bright chrome, but with dark accents (the surfaces like the sides of the spoles where the direct light isn't hitting them).
I guess if you think you'd prefer the look of a darker wheel like the comp. gray or black on your car, but still like chrome too...these would be the ideal blend.

I really appreciate your input. I like the look of my car now with the chrome wheels, but after nearly seven years, I just wanted to change the look a bit. The hyper silver painted surface looks more like the BMW finish, I guess, and I have been leaning towards it. It would also be easy to maintain. The comp grey may look too bland, although many rave about them. This black chrome really is interesting, and your description is a big help. Thanks
Personally, I think it's pretty hard to beat a silver car with chrome. One that just might do it for me though would be an anthracite wheel (very dark grey metallic) with chrome/polished outter barrels and lips.
For me since mines a daily driver, the look between cleaning is important.
I love the look of my chrome wheels, but they only look that good for a day or two. I have to clean them constantly..I put on a min of 50 miles a day.
Thinking of painting mine black..
Silver and black looks sweet IMO
The comp will be easy to care for but the hypers may be the best of both worlds shinny but not as much cleaning as the chromes to look good.
