I was on vacation in Orlando and came across a 2003 Z06 for sale. The vehicle had 2 miles on it. I do believe those are accurate miles, but that really sent up warning signals to me. It just seems that a vehicle is built to be driven. If a 2003 vehicle has never been driven, has been sitting for years, wouldn't you expect some serious issues once it is driven? Any thoughts on the problems which you might encounter? I would expect seals and gaskets would all need replaced. Is that correct?

Yes, it's possible for a vehicle with excessively low miles to have future problems and gremlins after driving it. The car is like your body, if you don't use it, you will lose it(you insert any body part here ). If you really like it and have your heart set into it, then it may be time to gamble....
sure it might be low miles but the car isnt like 20 yrs old,, its only 3,, so i wouldnt hesitate to start driving it,,,,, talk to your local gm man if he's someone you can trust ,, but i be he'll say the same thing,, later rj,, ps,,, especially if the cars been in a climate controlled garage!!
2 miles,,, come on !! They must have driven it at some time. See where this car has been sitting. Indoors / outdoors. Sitting for 3 years,, you might have to change a few parts, maybe tires, belts , gaskets, fluids, but if the price is right go for it. Get it to a GM dealer and get a bumper to bumper check up. Who knows could be turn out to be a good deal. Good luck ,, let us know how it turns out .
Two miles is a little hard to believe. You would think that somehow 15-20 miles would be logged on the odometer. It should not be too hard to tell if it is in fact "brand new". If the price is right I'd say go for it. Out of curiosity, what is the price?
Some people purchase "special" vehicles for collector purposes. Of course, the only thing I could see as collectible on an '03 would be the 50th stuff. Maybe the guy selling it needs some quick $$$ as has to get rid of it. One way to check would to put it on a lift and have a nice, long look underneath the vehicle.
I found a '96 Impala SS in Ebay that happened to be local to where I live that had 24 original miles on it, and this was a couple of months ago. It was displayed, on a lift, and it looked fresh out of the factory.
There are some shops here that put together salvage cars. PM me the place that's selling it and I'll tell you how legit they are. Also not all Chevy dealerships here are the same. I just dealt with one by me that I'll never go back to but I will go across town to get a honest answer.

The car you are talking about is at Roger's Corvettes. They specialize in very low milage Corvettes. It was probably trailered home from the dealer. People actually do that. I trailered my 2004 Z06 home from the dealer because I bought it in another part of Florida and wanted to keep the love bugs off it.
That's correct. The vehicle is at Rogers corvettes.
