Default GMPP saved my *** again

Just got my beloved vert back from the dealer this afternoon. My zero-deduct GMPP, plus $16, put me in an '07 Cadillac CTS for two days while the car was in the shop.

They hand washed the car, performed the 60k service (ouch! That's still expensive!) and covered the following under warranty at no cost:

Replaced both fuel sensors; replaced the wiring pigtail for my high beam that was intermittent; replaced the seat track to eliminate the rocking (which was very slight, but I wanted to get it handled) and replaced an LED indicator that was out in my lower two DIC buttons. I'm not sure how much the warranty saved me this time, because all I have are 0.00's on my receipt next to the covered repairs, but I'll bet it was plenty.

My dealer and GMPP rocks.

Oh, and my Window Valet was removed and replaced correctly during the repairs. Since January, the GMPP has also covered my entire handbrake mechanism, my flasher module, both rear thin spoke polished rims and probably something else I'm forgetting at the moment. LOVE that GMPP warranty and my local dealer. LOVE MY VERT! It's good to have it back.

I only hope I have such an easy time as you whenever I have to use my warranty.

Geez, I wish I could write a glowing term for my local idiots! It is scary to even think about bringing my car into my Chevy chop shop.

Sorry to hear about all the problems with your car, but good to hear about your good luck with warranty/dealer. One thing I would NOT let them do however is wash my car!

GMPP is the best - if you go for extended warranties.

If my car were black, I probably wouldn't, either, but these guys are terrific. Even the top looked perfect with no lint stuck to it or anything. I checked the car out very carefully.

Good deal. All of those repairs had to cost a bundle and it was great that you didn't have to pay a dime.

Black, blue, red, white, silver, it doesn't matter. I don't want them washing my car.

Considering you live quite some distance from my dealership, I don't think you'll need to worry them washing your car. But it ain't your car we're talking about, it's mine, and they did just fine.

Different strokes for different folks, and so on and so on and shooby dooby dooby.

That's great to hear! Nothing like a dealership that takes care of you, too! Congrats on getting her back!

Yep, that's right. My dealer covered it under the GMPP. They won't fix upholstery or foams or stuff like that, but mechanical items like the seat track, you bet.

What problems were you having that caused them to replace the flasher module? My RS turn signal does not work and Bill Curlee has been working with me on it.

I also have 0-deduct. GMPP and have had to use it once so far; looks like another opportunity is fast approaching... (In addition to my P0420 code!)

My turn signals were working intermittently. Punching the e-flasher button repeatedly would fix the problem -- temporarily. The intermittent signal failure effected both sides and also the e-flasher itself. The flasher modules are a known problem on C5s
