What maintenance should I do?
I'm thinking....
A) Tranny Fluid
B) Coolant (Gotta install the tranny cooler anyways)
C) Oil/Oil Filter
D) Thinking Fuel filter... but seems so much work, and I don't have any of the tools. (Hell I don't even have the right jacks to jack up my car). Too expensive to bring to a shop I presume...
I have 39,800 miles on my 2000 FRC. I spoke to a radiator shop about doing a coolant flush as the car is six years old. They seemed to think, without seeing the car, that I did not need to flush it. I then decided to have my local Chevy dealer do a flush anyway. The mechanic looked at the Dex-Cool and came out to the waiting area and advised me not to touch it. He explained that it was clean and not in need of a change/flush. Told me to save my money and that he would feel like a thief if he did the flush. Needless to say I took his advice. So, unlike an oil change on some sort of scheduled basis, it's evidently not required of the coolant.
Fuel filter ? With all the problems C5s have with fuel sensors I would change the fuel filter soon. Be advised the fuel filter is going to cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 55.00.
You may also want to drain the rear end juice. Change the power steering fluid and the brake fluid. Oh, and don't forget an air filter.

Dex-Cool is rated for five years or 100K miles whichever comes first. If your car is over five years old and had not had the coolant flushed, I'd get it done. Oil/filter can be done per the oil life monitor on the DIC.
