Who can take us?
Now I know all of you guys know that when you own a Corvette, every freaking kid in a ricer trys to flag you down and race you... happens to me almost every night I'm out.
Now my question is who can we take? Because Im used to owning a mustang where ricers like the WRX could take my sorry ***.
So what I am really asking is who can I toy with and who would give me a run? I am talking both manual and both completely stock.
Just throw some out there for me...

Anyone could take you with the right mods... One car to watch out for are those little f-bodies... generally make the same power, close to the same weight... Most of the time modded...

With the ease of making horsepower today, you really can't base your changes on make/model of the car. N20 is EASY to hide. Forced induction fits under a stock hood in many cases. All of these can be done to ANY car. Now, toss in driver skill as a variable.

Actually, it is in the realm of discussion.
I generally don't get the street racer challenges in my Z06 or in Maggies coupe (most think it is a Z06 because of the painted brakes lol).....
but when I am out in the Cobalt......
Every 4 cylinder speed demon in town wants to "run 'em". 
You have to have self control here. There are not too many stock street cars that can hang with a C5 vette, even less with a C5 Z06 or C6 vette, and a rarified few that can stay with a C6 Z06.
Of course, very few performance cars remain stock for long, and when modded, ANYTHING can be faster than a stock vette.

Stock for stock, you should be able to beat every one of those cars. However you can fit a blower under your hood, practically undetected

Sad to say I was "taken" (on a closed course track of course ) by one o' them pesky screwbarooos. Has to be an sti tho'. I could have caught him but by then we'd have been doing about warp 5. Still had a smile on my face.
