Low Battery Voltage, Poor Connection Issues
The other night when my OEM battery went south, the mystery interior workings of the 02 ZO6 clicked, hummed, ticked, spike indications on the gauges, and other low voltage things occurred when I turned the key to the start position. When we wiggled the battery cable connectors, the same intermittent power spikes occurred. Finally we attempted to jump start the car but between cheap jumper cables and low source voltage, the car wouldn't start. My concern is the possible damage that may have occurred by all the power spikes, low voltage, and numerous attempts at starting the car. I bought a new battery and all appears well for now. What possible damage may have occurred to the computer system and or electronics and what symptoms (if any) should I be looking for as a result of it?
