After going to various auto parts stores ,I ended up at the local Discount Tire shop. They have a wide variety of chrome nuts and locks. Chrome looks good on them and I think they were only a little over a buck apiece.
Not sure what you mean but my 2002 with polished wheels came with gray color plastic caps that screw over the actual lug nut. Mid America sells a very nice Chrome plastic set that makes it look real nice and is perfect with your wheel lock.
Are your wheels chromed? Mine are polished alum. Mid America sells a stainless lug nut cap which looks neat.

My wheels are the factory polished wheels with about 25 coats of Zaino. Like I said I had gray plastic covers that screw over the actual lug nut from the factory. Replaced them with Mid-America part number 612-117 Chrome plastic lug $29 page 118 in the latest catalog.
My wheels came with a haze but your right l will zaino them at least 10 times before l make a move. So you think l'm better off with the chrome plated ones instead of the stainless. It's in their online catalog.
If you are going to "Corvettes at Carlisle" there is a vendor there that sells them for $1.00 each. I think in the past he has even taken your stock silver caps as a trade-in to reduce the price even further. I bought a couple from him as backups incase mine get damaged.

Is there a reason that l should use the house of wheels instead of Mid-America's stainless ones and what's the difference between the style of the 2002 lug nut covers and the 2004?
